xGPS - GPS for iPhone / iPod touch

The xGPS software (named xGPS 1.0p1) currently available in our Installer v3 (for firmware 1.x) repository is not compatible with the xGPS Module. A new alpha version of this software will be available on Monday 2nd September. Please note that this version will be available only to firmware 2.0 (or greater) users. So if you have not yet upgraded your iPhone or iPod Touch, consider to do it now.

Unfortunately there are never only good news. We are experiencing some shipping delay due to a late shipment from our suppliers and some delay on the production line. First orders have been shipped today (Tuesday 26th August 2008). Some others will be shipped later on the afternoon. You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your order has been shipped. The current delay should be about one week (5 working days). We are very sorry for that. We are working day and night to make up for lost time.

Concerning the software we are making our best effort to try to release a very first alpha version with minimal features on the first of September. We cannot say more now, we simply don’t know more :-).

Again, we are very sorry for the encountered delays. Thank you to be patient.

We are happy to announce that all our xGPS module are now sold. We want to thank you for yours orders. If you have not received your confirmation email within two days following your order, please contact us. People that have ordered a module will receive progress report of their order by email.

We are now focusing all efforts to release a working beta release of our software.

People that have placed a pre-order request will receive tomorrow a “gift code” to get a lower price. We thus ask these people to wait for tomorrow to place an order.
